BEST GLASS STOVE TOP CLEANING
1. Dawn Platinum Power Wash
This one might seem really strange, but don’t let the packaging fool you. It’s not just for dishes! If it can get the hard stuck-on food off of my dishes then it can definitely get it off of my glass stove top.
This is a great item to start with. It gets the light stuff off and gives a little soak to that hard stuck-on stuff. This is one of the top cleaning products for my family. It has so many uses and works so well too!
After it sits for a minute, I go in with a scrub mommy and give it a gentle scrub with the rough side of the sponge. This helps loosen up anything that is easier to get off. Then, I go in with a paper towel to clean up.
2. The Pink Stuff
I swear by this stuff! It will literally take anything (I have yet to find something it doesn’t work on) off in just a matter of seconds and it is so easy to use. This has become a staple at my house and we always make sure to have a jar in the house.
After I have wiped it down with the powerwash, I go in with The Pink Studd and gently rub it on whatever is caked to the stove top. And a bonus to this product is that it has a faint, but great smell. If you’re anything like me, you love a product that has a great smell.
USE WITH CAUTION!! This stuff can possibly scratch your glass stove top. I have not had it happen to me, but it does have granules in it that could possibly leave behind some scratches. Use as directed and you should be just fine too.
3. Weiman Disinfectant Stovetop Cleaner Spray
This is one of my favorite sprays for glass stove top cleaning. Not only is it cleaning, but it is also disinfecting. Has an effect much like Windex, it doesn’t leave behind any streaks on the glass stove top.
Weiman is one of my favorite cleaning brands. This spray is amazing and my family and I swear by it. I have all my family members hooked on this product and most of the Weiman products.
After I have scrubbed with The Pink Stuff, I then go in with this spray. I usually just let The Pink Stuff dry and spray the Weiman’s spray right on top of that and wipe it away with a paper towel.
4. Weiman Glass Cook Top Cleaner & Polish
This is my favorite product to finish out my glass stove top cleaning with. It leaves the best shine and really adds the best shine to your stove top.
Lastly, I add a few lines to the top of my stove and just rub it in with a paper towel and continue to wipe at it until it has all disappeared. It will leave some white flakes and I just blow those off. After using this product, your stove top is going to be looking like new. It is that great! This is another product that I have all of my family members hooked on.
You can buy this separately or in a kit like pictured above. I like to use just the polish and buff it in with a paper towel unless I have some stuck-on gunk that I didn’t get off with the pink stuff. Typically just use the paste, so the full kit really isn’t a huge need, but is nice to have!
