1.Water & Vinegar

One of the main items that will help your sink shine is a half and half mixture of white vinegar and water. This exact formula is highly used for many aspects of cleaning.
This mixture is one of my family’s top cleaning products. One of our top reasons for loving it is that there are no harsh chemicals, but it will still give you a nice clean.
I like to reuse my plastic spray bottles, after a very good wash and rinse cycle, this way I can repurpose something that I already have. I have used these exact glass spray bottles and highly recommend them!
2. Baking Soda
I think we all know about this one, but in combination with the water and vinegar mixture, your sink will be shining like new.
This is another product that is a family favorite. Sprinkle a generous amount all over your sink, spray your mixture from above on top and scrub away.
Simple ingredients like baking soda is really all it takes for a nice shiny clean. A common misconception is finding these big brand chemical cleaners to get that perfect clean, when really good common household items do the trick.
3. Brillo Steel Wool Soap Pads
These Brillo steel wool soap pads really are a hidden gem. Not only are they great for cleaning that har stuck on food from your pans, but also do an amazing job at cleaning your sink.
Not only are these Brillo pads hidden gem of cleaning, they are also so affordable! These really are a top in my kitchen sink cleaning hacks.
I like to use this to scrub with once I have sprinkled the baking soda and sprayed it with the vinegar and water solution.
4. Dawn Platinum Powerwash
Try not to let the bottle fool you, its not only good for cleaning dishes. This is my final step in getting my sink to shine. This is a family favorite! Since I have shared it, everyone I know uses this to get that shine.
I spray a nice even coat in my sink and let it sit for a minute. Next, I go in with a scrubber, not the Brillo pads this time, and give it a nice scrub. Then give it a good rinse with the hottest water that I can get.
You will be so surprised with how well this works to clean your sink. This is another of my absolute favorite kitchen sink cleaning hacks.
5. Scrub Mommy/Daddy
Don’t let this packaging fool you either. This works just as great as a kitchen sink scrubber as it does for your dishes.
I use this to scrub after I have let the powerwash sit. Again, after scrubbing, I rinse with the hottest water that I can get.
I swear by the scrub mommy sponges. They are the best at getting that hard stuck on food, all while staying clean themselves. Everything washes right out of it. I can assure, that this will be another favorite for you. Definitely a great kitchen sink cleaning hack.
6. BONUS!
I had to add in my favorite thing to do with my garbage disposal. We all know that those are inevitable for smell.
Because this certain hack has been in my family for as long as I can remember, I had to share it. This one is tested and true for getting a great smelling disposal without any harsh chemicals.
Simply cut up a lemon and toss in 1-2 small slices, run the hot water into the disposal and turn it on. Enjoy the smell of fresh lemons and say goodbye to the garbage smell.
